Understanding Youth, Relationship & Marriage

Meanings:
To start with and in a very brief manner so that we don't get confused, let us go through the meanings of Youth, Relationship and Marriage.

Youth:
The quality or state of being young; youthfulness; juvenility.

The part of life that succeeds to childhood; the period of existence preceding maturity or age; the whole early part of life, from childhood, or, sometimes, from infancy, to manhood.
A young person; especially, a young man.
Relationship:

The condition or fact of being related; connection or association.
A Connection by blood or marriage; kinship.
A particular type of connection existing between people related to or having dealings with each other:

A romantic or sexual involvement (the case that we are going to focus on in our case).

Marriage:
Marriage is a social, religious, spiritual or legal union of individuals that creates kinship...an institution in which interpersonal relationships (usually intimate and sexual) are acknowledged by the state, by religious authority, or both...often viewed as a contract.

I like to view marriage as a partnership between a man and a woman. This partnership requires a lifetime commitment of emotional, physical and spiritual resources from both parties.
Depending on the level of dedication and engagement each spouse gives, the relationship has the potential to blossom into something truly great.

The matrimonial ceremony (the wedding) is only the beginning, the planting of the marriage. A lot goes into nourishing the relationship.

Yes, it requires love, patience, kindness, respect, honesty, forgiveness, etc. Your marriage will thrive and grow when it's lovingly tended to in this manner.

In order that we do not complicate the meaning we simply state it as “the joining of two people (a man and a woman) who form a pact to devote the rest of their lives to one another”. It doesn't matter what your motivations are.
With the recent controversy over same-sex marriage, the definition of marriage has come under some serious fire.

Everyone has gotten involved...the courts, the clergy, lawyers, institutions and laypersons. They all want their own meaning of marriage for every possible scenario in the world.
